Visiting a patient
Visiting Hours
Visitors are welcome between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
However, alternative arrangements may be made by prior agreement by contacting the Inpatient Suite.
Hospital entry and parking
Our reception, inpatient suite (ward) and day stay pick-up are located off Kensington Avenue.
Parking and mobility access
There is a drop-off zone in front of reception and free parking to the right of reception along the side of the building. Additional free parking is available on the surrounding streets free with unlimited timeframes.
Mobility parking is available in front of reception.
Respiratory symptoms
Visitors are asked not to come into our premises if they have respiratory illness symptoms or are unwell.
Support person
On occasion, patients are accompanied by a support person throughout their stay. A patient’s support person may be:
- A parent or guardian
- A carer of a patient
- Other – as agreed with the senior nurse on duty
If a patient requires a support person to stay, this can be indicated on their admission form or they can speak to a member of our team.
