David is an Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon (ENT), born and raised here in Northland. He completed his specialist training and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2013, followed by advanced fellowship training in Auckland and Yorkshire through the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. This gave David additional expertise in complex ear, nasal, and neck surgery.

He has served as Clinical Director of Otolaryngology at Northland District Health Board, leading ENT services for our region, and continues to play an active role in training and supervising the next generation of ENT surgeons through national committees.

David provides care across the full range of ENT conditions, from straightforward issues to highly complex surgery. Together with Vanessa, David looks forward to welcoming you to their Whangārei clinic and providing high-quality, patient-centred care for our community
